Permanent Residence
Permanent residence is what most people are ultimately trying to reach and there is rarely only one way to get there. The route that suits your profile is often not the one you have heard of. Choosing the wrong stream, or applying under the right one with the wrong evidence can cost years.
You do not have to navigate this complexity alone. We partner with you to identify your best option and prepare a strong application, saving you time and giving you peace of mind about your future.
Permanent residence programs we handle
If you are not sure which program fits your situation, start with a consultation.
Express Entry
- Express Entry: Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled Trades
- Express Entry profile creation, comprehensive ranking score review and strategies to raise a score that is sitting below the draw cut off
- Category based selection draws, including the language and occupation categories
- Choosing the correct National Occupational Classification code and documenting work experience so it actually matches it
Provincial and regional programs
- Provincial Nominee Programs, both the streams aligned with Express Entry and the direct provincial streams: employer driven, in demand occupation, international graduate and semi skilled worker streams
- Atlantic Immigration Program and rural, northern and community driven streams
Other applications
- Applications for permanent residence on humanitarian and compassionate grounds
- Permanent resident card renewal, permanent resident travel documents for clients stranded outside Canada and residency obligation problems
- Voluntary renunciation of permanent residence where that is the right decision
What the process involves
Working out which stream you are actually eligible for. That usually means testing two or three against your history rather than assuming the one you have heard of.
Language testing and an educational credential assessment, both of which have to be in hand before a profile can be created.
Documenting the work experience. Reference letters in the form IRCC expects, pay records and an occupation code the duties on those letters genuinely match.
Submission, followed by medicals and police certificates.
Answering whatever IRCC raises afterwards, from a request for additional documents to a procedural fairness letter.
Common problems we solve
- A score that has been just below the cut off for months
- Work experience that does not map cleanly onto a single occupation code
- Employment gaps, self employment, or work in a family business that is hard to prove
- A previous refusal that now has to be explained in the new application
- Documents from a country whose civil registry no longer functions
